Dear local food box members and friends,
In our last communication we mentioned that in 2020 we would not operate the Local Food Box Program to focus on expanding Wind Whipped Farm and making more time for family. In light of how the coronavirus is impacting all of our lives and the global food system, we have changed our plans.
We have decided to farm and operate the Local Food Box Program in 2020. We aim to launch registrations by mid-April. Please ensure you are subscribed to our newsletter to be notified.
We are currently exploring if and how we can provide deliveries to members who may be at risk of more severe outcomes from COVID-19. In order to ensure our farms continue to offer safe and healthy local food, we are also evaluating what changes, if any, we need to make to our operations and pick-up locations. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
