Once you have completed the Sign-up Form, we will confirm your registration and process your first payment. You will receive an email reminder a few weeks before the first pick-up.
What’s new in 2019?
- Wind Whipped Farm is increasing the number of produce boxes, from 100 in 2018 to 115 in 2019.
- In 2019 boxes can be picked up in Victoria on Tuesdays at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre, and on Fridays at Wind Whipped Farm in Metchosin. Depending on your location, the first pick-up date is Tuesday June 4, or Friday June 7, 2019. More information about the pick-up times and locations is available here.
- Alex and Virginie, who operate Wind Whipped Farm and coordinate the Local Food Program, are having a baby in May. To keep things somewhat manageable with the arrival of this spring cabbage, the Vic West pick-up location is on hold for 2019. This means that unlike previous years, in 2019 boxes cannot be picked up at the Vic West Community Centre.
- Local Food Box farms continue to offer several options: Fruits & veggies, eggs, beef, mixed meats (lamb, pork, chicken), and flowers. Here’s the list of the food and flower items we aim to produce in 2019.
